THE WEEK OF ANIMATION AND CINEMA FOR CHILDREN is a platform for accessing event information and films from the event's Competitive Screening held by Infinitoo Gestão de Inovação e Agenciamento de Negócios.

 

2. Applicable standards

​

(i) Federal Law No. 12,925, of April 23, 2014: Establishes principles, guarantees, rights and duties for the use of the Internet in Brazil – “Marco Civil da Internet”;

(ii) Federal Decree No. 8,711, of May 11, 2016: Regulates Law No. 12,965, of April 23, 2014, to deal with the admitted hypotheses of discrimination of data packets on the internet and traffic degradation, indicate procedures for custody and protection of data by connection and application providers, point out transparency measures in the request of registration data by the public administration and establish parameters for inspection and investigation of infractions;

(iii) Federal Law No. 13,709, of August 14, 2018: General Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD).

 

3. Service description

3.1. WEEK OF ANIMATION AND CINEMA FOR CHILDREN

SACI is an international film festival. A festival with films from the most diverse parts of the world, to delight, amuse and expand the cultural baggage of its users.

 

3.2. How does the service work?

​

Users register to receive information about films and the event's schedule.

3.3. What personal data is processed?

​

Semana de Animação e Cinema Infantil carries out the processing of the following personal data, based on the respective legal bases:

NAME -  User identification for the communication. - Art. 7, item I, of the LGPD

EMAIL - Sending a newsletter with information about the event and its activities. - Art. 7, item I, of the LGPD

CPF = Identification of the uniqueness of the user - Art. 7, item I, of the LGPD

Phone - Sending information via whatsapp - Art. 7, item I, of the LGPD

 

3.4. Processing of personal data of children and adolescents

The processing of personal data of children and adolescents will only be done with the provision of consent by one of the parents, or legal representative, pursuant to art. 14, § 1, of the General Data Protection Law (Federal Law No. 13,709/2018), and will observe the provisions of the Child and Adolescent Statute (Federal Law No. 8,069/1990).

It will be up to parents and/or legal guardians, in the exercise of custody duties, to provide all assistance and guidance to underage users, at the time of registration and use of the services.

4. User rights

Among the various provisions contained in the LGPD, there is a specific list of rights applicable to all holders of personal data (art. 18):

​

(i)  confirmation of the existence of treatment;

(ii) access to data;

(iii) correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;

(iv) anonymization, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed in violation of the law;

(v) portability of data to another service or product provider, upon express request, in accordance with the regulations of the national authority, observing commercial and industrial secrets;

(vi) deletion of personal data processed with the consent of the holder, subject to the exceptions provided for in the LGPD;

(vii) information from public and private entities with which the controller carried out shared use of data;

(viii) information on the possibility of not providing consent and on the consequences of the refusal;

(ix) revocation of consent.

 

5. Responsibilities of the user and the Children's Animation and Cinema Week

5.1. User Responsibilities

​

(i) The user is responsible for the veracity and correction of the data provided at the time of registration;

(ii) The user is responsible for keeping his personal information up to date, being solely responsible for the consequences of inconsistencies or errors in the registered information;

(iii) The registered login and password are personal and non-transferable, and it is the user's responsibility to maintain the secrecy of this information, and the Animation and Children's Film Week is not liable in case of misuse after sharing this information;

(iv) The user is solely responsible for the security of their personal devices that access the services, including sharing devices, installing applications or software, granting permissions, accessing public or private networks, browsing the Internet, using of web applications etc.;

(v) The user is responsible for the misuse of their information or personal data as a result of third-party applications or software installed on their devices that access the Animation and Children's Cinema Week;

(vi) The user undertakes to reimburse and indemnify any and all damages caused to [Semana de Animação e Cinema Infantil or to third parties due to non-compliance with these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy (including violation of intellectual property rights, rights of personality, industrial/commercial secrecy), or due to any acts performed from their personal devices, their access to the Internet or their use of third-party applications;

(vii) The use of the Animation and Children's Film Week services must be carried out in good faith, these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, being prohibited the use for purposes other than those provided for in this document;

(viii) In the case of children and adolescents using the Animation and Cinema Week services, it is the duty of the parents and/or legal guardians to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Term of Use, observing the obligations arising from the duty of custody.

 

5.2. Responsibilities of the Children's Animation and Cinema Week

 

(i) Semana de Animação e Cinema Infantil will comply with the legislation relating to the protection and processing of personal data, being responsible for the use of data and information only for the purposes essential to the provision of its services, provided for in this Term of Use and in the Privacy Policy Privacy, preserving the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the personal data processed;

(ii) The Children's Animation and Cinema Week shall keep updated and publish future changes to this Term of Use and Privacy Policy through the address www.saci.art.br;

(iii) Under no circumstances will Semana de Animação e Cinema Infantil be responsible for the installation, on the user's or third party's personal devices, of malicious codes resulting from Internet browsing carried out by the user.

 

6. Terms of Use Updates

​

Semana de Animação e Cinema Infantil may change these Terms of Use at any time, without the need for prior notice to users. In case of alteration or modification, the updated version will be published at www.saci.art.br, being the responsibility of the registered users the periodic access to the page for monitoring.

8. Venue

​

The jurisdiction of the Judicial District of Curitiba/PR is elected to resolve any disputes or controversies arising from the use of the services of [SERVICE NAME], including in relation to non-compliance with the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, or the violation of rights of [ SERVICE NAME], from users or third parties.

 

9. Accept

By checking the “I accept” option, the user declares that he has read and understood this Term of Use and other applicable Policies, expressing his express agreement with this document and being bound by it, as well as providing his express consent for the processing of data personal data in the form of item 3.3 above.
